Grade 7 Students Challenge Grade 8 Math at STM
Last week all students from any school (who are entering Grade 8 at STM next year) were invited to challenge the Grade 8 math curriculum. There were only four students who qualified. Three out of the four students are from OLM! Congratulations to Bianca, Jocelle and Thomas.

Grade 6 and 7 Outdoor Education
God was certainly smiling on us because we had great weather! The students and STM councillors were terrific. Our students challenged themselves and pushed past their comfort zone. They worked together in cooperation and were very affirming. Thank you to the staff, parents and students. Without your help and support our students would not be able to experience this memorable event.

Ministry Video
The CISVA videos are finally live! There are two short videos. When viewing remember its meant to be a montage (small clips) of technology and personalized learning. There were four schools (two high schools and two elementary schools) that were honoured to be in the video. Thank you to the staff, students and parents. We are very proud! Here’s a comment from a parent at OLM who viewed the videos:

Hello Mrs. Grout,

I just viewed the Ministry of Education video of OLM & the other schools that participated in this initiative. We should all be very proud that our fabulous school is featured in this video… I certainly am very proud that my kids go to OLM!

Thank you for your continuous efforts in making OLM a great school.
