Reminder: After School Valentine Craft
The Valentine After School Craft is this Friday, February 5th from 3:00pm – 4:00pm. There are still seats available for the craft event. Submit your permission slips and $5.00 by Wednesday, Feb 3rd. Permission slip attached.

O.L.M.’s AGM & Registration Night
Mark your calendars! O.L.M.’s Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday, February 8, 2010 at 6:30pm in the school gym. This important information meeting will explain the increases in tuition and the changes in the registration package. It is expected that at least one parent from each family attend the meeting.

Registration packages for the 2010-2011 School Year will be handed out at this time. Those who are here on registration night will have priority given to them in regards to the participation program.

Used Uniform Sale

Used uniforms will be sold on Monday, February 8, ½ hour before and ½ hour after the Annual General Meeting. All items are $10.00 per item.

Campbell’s Labels

Our Lady of Mercy School participates in the Campbell’s Labels for Education, which is a school support program whereby registered schools collect labels from Campbell’s products and redeem them for educational resources ranging from sports equipment and musical instruments to video equipment and computers.

In order for this to be successful, and the school to take the opportunity of some of the resources, we are asking families to collect Campbell’s product labels and hand them into the school office.

Mabel’s Labels

Our Lady of Mercy School is running a brand new fundraiser with Mabel’s Labels. Please visit www.ourladyofmercy.mabel.ca to place your order and support our fundraiser. You can customize sticky labels, clothing labels, shoe labels, bag tags and more. Place orders online and have them shipped directly to your home. This fundraiser will be in place until the end of the year, all profits will go directly to Our Lady of Mercy School Fundraising.

Hot Lunch

During the last round of hot lunches, there have been quite a few parents who were sure they ordered lunches for the children before the Christmas break but in fact did not. As a result, a few children went without lunch on Hot Lunch Days. In order to ensure your child gets a lunch on Thursdays, when completing the order forms please mark on your calendar whether or not you ordered a hot lunch for your child so there is no confusion. We only order a very few extras for hot lunch, therefore it’s extremely important that the order forms be completed correctly, to ensure your child gets the lunch you intended them to receive.

• Experienced in working with small children?
• Available 1 evening per week (weeknights or weekends)?

We are looking for a Babysitter for a 3 year old girl in our home – Edmonds/High Gate Area.
